Q: What does 'Tipping Point' mean?
A: Groupola is based on a concept known as collective buying power which is when a group of consumers come together and use their group size as leverage in exchange for discounts. At Groupola we negotiate these discounts for you in advance and the tipping point is the minimum number of people needed in the group in order for the business to give us the discount.

Q: Do I have to sign up a group of people I know to get the deal?
A: Nope, we have hundreds of thousands of members who make up a big enough group. You'll probably want to invite people anyway, friends, family work colleagues, Facebook & Twitter friends who can resist a great offer too.
Q: Why is my status displaying 'Pending' when I paid by Pay Pal?
A: As you are aware we do not charge you until the deal has 'Tipped'; however, if you are paying via Pay Pal, Pay Pal will hold the funds for a total of 14 days, they are required to hold the funds as a transaction precaution. So if the deal has not 'Tipped' and you have paid by Pay Pal, after 14 days you will be refunded the amount you spent on the deal, for more information please contact via email on info@groupola.com.
Q: What happens if the Groupola doesn't reach its required minimum number of purchasers?
A: If not enough people sign up, then the deal is cancelled and you won't be charged. So if you really want the Groupola, tell your friends, family, colleagues

A: Just click "BUY IT" before the offer ends. As soon as the minimum number signs up, you'll get a printable Groupola in your inbox that you can use whenever you want. If not enough people join, no one gets it (and you won't be charged).
Q: When can I use my Groupola?
A: Most Groupola deals have an expiration date, but you never have to use them on the date of purchase. Often it is necessary to make a reservation with the participating business to use your Groupola deal.
Q: I bought a Groupola, what happens now?
A: Within an hour of the minimum number of a Groupola deal being sold, you'll receive an email with redemption instructions and your printable Groupola voucher, or login and you an print your Groupola Voucher from your account.
Q: Can I buy a Groupola as a gift for someone else?
A: Yes. Unless the small print specifically states otherwise. So send that gift.
Q: If I don't use the full value of the Groupola in one visit, can I use the remainder later?
A: No. Unless otherwise stated you will not receive a credit or cash back for whatever you don't use. Bring a friend and share your Groupola.
Q: Can I combine my Groupola with other offers or specials?
A: No, not unless the Groupola specifically states otherwise.
Q: When am I billed for my Groupola?
A: You are only charged if the Groupola reaches the required minimum number of sales. Once the "tipping point" is reached your card is charged and you are emailed your Groupola instantly for use the next day.
Q: How safe is Groupola?
A: Extremely. At no time is your credit or debit card information or any payment related data stored on our servers.
Q: Can I return a Groupola?
A: Within the limits of reason, we'll do what it takes to make you happy. Unless there is something wrong with the purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds after one week from the purchase date.

How Does it Work?
To get the savings, each deal requires an agreed minimum number of participants before the deal goes live. Deals typically run for 24 hours and may last a few days'.. So sign up, spread the word amongst your friends, family and work colleagues..
Once a deal is complete, you'll receive a voucher in your Groupola account. Simply present this to the merchant and enjoy the savings.
